PREMIUM HARDWOOD TIMBER DECKING

Tudor Timber stocks only premium hardwood timber decking and select durable hardwood species. As we are a direct importer, so we can ensure quality and competitive pricing on all our products. We supply local and imported decking timber, pre-oiled decking (we have a moulding and coating factory in Kelmscott) and engineered decking products. If we don’t have the timber decking you want, then we can likely to source it from our extensive global networks.

ENVIRONMENT

All our timbers are sourced from regulated plantations or harvested by government-licensed mills to set quotas. For instance, jarrah is sustainably managed by the Forest Products Commission, which is a WA State Government agency. We buy direct from mills who hold an Australian Forestry Standard (AFS) certification from that agency, which means they are complying with regulated quotas to ensure the conservation of hardwood forests.

PRE-OILED

We recommend that all timber decking be purchased pre-oiled. We oil our decking timber through our coating plant in Kelmscott. It’s a technique we’ve used for many years, so have honed our processes to ensure it is oiled evenly on all four sides. This type of coating will penetrate the timber and condition the wood against the elements. As you know, once timber decking has been installed, you can’t oil the underside of your deck – so this system is a great option to promote longevity.

BEST DECK CLIPS

Our concealed clip system ensures your timber decking has a seamless surface. It also achieves a superior aesthetic finish and provides no-fuss maintenance. There is no predrilling (you don’t have to counter sink screws); no face fixing (you have an uninterrupted smooth finish for the eye and sole!); and, if required, sanding and re-oiling is easier. Our own innovation, the Best Deck Clip is designed to cope with the natural expansion and contraction of decking timber. The clip system works with superior stainless-steel screws, which have a painted black top so they visually disappear. Read more in Hardware.
